Rector

He is a Doctorate in Management from Periyar Maniammai University, Thanjavur. His PhD is titled “Organisational and Social Development through Cause Marketing – The case of Rural Ophthalmic Health care”

 He is a Post Graduate in Management from SCMS – Cochin, Post Graduate in Hospital and Health Care Management from Symbiosis, Pune and an Alumni of Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He has around 25 years of academic and industry experience in the areas of Marketing, Human Resources, International Business, Entrepreneurship and Organizational Development.  There are ten management case chapters to his credit including “The Business of RBK: A Role to be understood”, management case written during his academics at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. The management case was a national hit in the year 2008. He is a corporate trainer in the field of Leadership, Organisational Effectiveness, Communication, Corporate Governance, Administration, Entrepreneurship, Management Interventions, and Social Interventions etc. His experience has been as a Management Consultant, Head – Domestic and International Marketing, Principal and Director of two Business Schools. He is also the Director of Koumudi Grameena Netralaya (a rural ophthalmic health care institute) at Kasaragod, Kerala, India. He is closely associated with different rural social service organisations.

Accolades:Case written at IIMA “The business of RBK: a role to be understood” was a national hit in the year 2008. He has won the best participant award at the International Case Convention held at Hyderabad, (Organized by Dhruva Institute of Management, Hyderabad and University of California.  He is an Accredited Management Teacher of AIMA. One of his innovations was recently credited as among the top four by AIMS – We School international conclave. He is also approved for the Bharat Vibhuti Award (National Educational Star Award). He was awarded the prestigious Dewang Mehta Educational Leadership Award in 2018 and in 2019, he was recognised as the Best Academic Administrator by Academy of Management Professionals. His case on decentralised production with respect to Sevana Model in India is taught in many renowned B Schools. He also has many publications to his credit in national and international journals.
