Are your programs recognized?
Yes. BlueCrest University College has been established under accreditation granted by The National Commission on Higher Education (NCHE), Republic of Liberia to run bachelor degree programs in Information Technology and Management (Business Administration).
What are the activities for over-all development of student?
Extracurricular activities including seminars, workshops, expert talks, International conferences, industry visits, personality development role-plays, communication skills, other cultural events and sports.
Can I apply as a Lateral Entry Candidate for the Degree?
Yes, you can apply. You should present the transcript from an accredited institution and the courses from the transcript shall be mapped to our curriculum to determine the equivalence.
Can I transfer credits from another university?
BlueCrest University College allows the transfer of credits from other accredited universities. The number of credits which can be transferred will be determined by the Evaluation Office. Here again, the mapping will be done to determine equivalence.
Can I come and visit the campus?
Yes. You can visit the campus on any working Day from 09:00 Hrs to 17:00 Hrs and meet our counselors, academic and /or the management team. Please call us to book an appointment if you would like to visit after 17:00 Hrs.
What is a Credit Hour?
A Credit Hour is the unit of measuring educational Credit, usually based on the number of classroom hours per week throughout a semester.
What are a GPA and CGPA? What is the difference between these two?
GPA is acronym for Grade Point Average. CGPA is acronym for Cumulative Grade Point Average
The GPA is Divide the total points by the total credits taken to obtain your semester grade point average. The CGPA is the cumulative aggregation of your GPA of all semesters you have studied.
What are the recent achievements and developments at the University?
BlueCrest University College has achieved many accolades for its path-breaking approach to higher education. It was among the first one in Liberia to bring internationally Accredited Programs from NIIT, an institution rated among the Top Training institutions by IDC, USA.
BlueCrest University College was also awarded the Fastest Growing Technological College "A sine qua non to the job market" by Media Against Rejection and Stigma (MARS) on January 28, 2016.
BlueCrest University College was also the proud recipient of "Outstanding Institution of the Year 2016" by Hot Pepper Newspaper on May 8, 2017.
Can I pay through bank transfer or online?
We do accept payments through cash and bank transfer in the University College Bank account for Tuition fees. Please contact the finance office for account details.
Can I apply for an internship?
Various internship opportunities arise at BlueCrest from time to time. Please contact your Department Head to get a referral for the internship opportunities at the BlueCrest College ot any of its ecosystem partners.
What is the Freshman Orientation day?
Freshman Student orientation or new student orientation is a period before the start of an academic session. A variety of events are held to orient and welcome new students during this day.
History of College
BlueCrest College was conceived as a high-tech Information Technology (IT) centre of excellence in late 2013.

In the admission of students, the College may consider an applicant's character. The College may refuse to admit an applicant because of past misconduct. The BlueCrest University College designates appropriate personnel to review all applications.

For Bachelor's Degree Program
Intake for Bachelor's Degree Program takes place in two sessions every year:
Spring (Feb) Intake: Intake for this session begins mid-November till end-February.
Fall (Sep) Intake: Intake for this session begins mid-May till end-August.
